Following the success of last year’s Climate Festival and Green Fayre, Congleton Town Council and Congleton Partnership are working together to bring another Green Week to the town.
Green Week will take place 18th-25th September, and organisers are promising an even bigger and better Green Fayre than the previous one.
The Green Fayre is taking place 10am-4pm on Saturday 24th September.
As well as this, the usual repair workshop – which takes place on the last Saturday of each month – will move from its home at the Old Saw Mill to Congleton Town Hall as a one-off as part of the festival.
The team behind the event is also hoping to host a textile exchange in the town hall.
High Street will closed to traffic, and will be home to more than 30 stalls as well as a collection of electric bikes and cars.
The Makers Market will be held at the same time in the pedestrianised area.
In the week leading up to the Green Fayre there will be a programme of talks, walks, demonstrations and open days.
