The Old Hall at Tatton Park has featured on ‘Most Haunted’ and is described by bosses as the perfect spot for some spooky adventures.
The Old Hall also stands within its own grounds, in a quiet wooded area of the park, meaning it has its own unique atmosphere.
It’s also a site of historical and archaeological importance, with a 500-year history from being a medieval manor house to a Victorian gamekeepers cottage.
This October, however, it’s taking on a whole new level of spookiness.

Halloween at The Old Hall
🧙♂️ Over the Halloween half term, The Old Hall Park will host an immersive, open-air, family-friendly quest which combines a self-led trail, fun activities and interactive theatre.
👿 Families and friends will take centre stage to help defeat the evil sorcerer Dimitri, who has been banished from the wizards’ village.
👻 The story unfolds in the spookiest corners of The Old Hall, where you’ll find characters who share magical secrets before you adventure into the unknown.
🧹 Children will learn magic spells and there’ll be advanced broomstick lessons too.
✨ Bring out your magical side – give your wizard some wiz and make your witches wicked – and go on an immersive journey through curious forests and enchanting theatre.
