1980s electronica tribute band ‘Electro 80s‘ performed a fundraising concert at The Studio Nantwich on Friday 12th October 2018.
Electro 80s performed a set recreating songs by artists including Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Kraftwerk, OMD, Spandau Ballet, Tears for Fear, The Human League and Visage. The concert was followed by a DJ set.
Entry was by donation, and the £347 raised will go to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s Dementia Appeal.
Nigel Woodhouse, director of operations at The Studio, said: “As always it was a great show by the red, green and blue boys of Electro 80s.
“It is always a pleasure to host this event as it is a cause close to us all, Dementia.”
Carole Salmon, community fundraiser for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity, said: “A big thanks to Nigel Woodhouse and his team for their continued support for our Dementia Appeal.
“Thanks also to the members of the local community who attended and donated.”
Carole added: “I had the pleasure of attending the event to enjoy the Electro 80s band and the brilliant atmosphere in The Studio.
“The money raised will help fund numerous projects across our hospitals and in the community to improve the service for people living with dementia.”
Electro 80s will next appear at The Studio Nantwich on Easter Thursday 18th April 2019 – the unofficial start of the Nantwich Jazz Blues & Music Festival.
