48 city centre businesses are participating in a free trick or treat trail this Halloween.
CH1ChesterBID is promising a ‘fangtastic’ range of free activities in Chester to help families get into the spooky spirit.
The BID has announced plans to launch the city’s largest trick or treat trail – alongside craft workshops, film screenings and Halloween characters who are set to cause mischief for unsuspecting shoppers in the city centre!
The ‘Halloween Spooktacular’ will take place from tomorrow (24th October) until 2nd November.
Trail maps can be picked up from Chester Visitor Information Centre at Chester Town Hall or downloaded online.
Completed sheets should then be handed back to the information centre to be in with a chance of winning a £50 toy bundle from Debenhams.
Helping the children transform into their favourite Halloween characters, Chester Visitor Information Centre will be running facepainting for little ones on 31st October (12pm-4pm) for a £3 fee.
Meanwhile – Dracula and Maleficent, as well as Jack and Sally from The Night Before Christmas, will all be roaming the streets for families to take photographs with.
“Halloween in Chester this year is set to be bigger and more spooktacular than ever before!” said Emily Ghazarian, events manager at CH1ChesterBID.
“We’ve created a programme of activities that will entertain young and old this year.
“Our craft classes, cinema screenings and trick or treat trail allows families to spend quality time together exploring their local city centre.
It’s a great way to enjoy several hours on the high street and entertain the little ones across the half term week.”
