Prestbury candidates:
- Thelma Jackson (Conservatives)
- Stuart Redgard (independent)

Thelma Jackson (Conservatives)
I have lived in Prestbury for many years and since marrying into one of the oldest Prestbury families, the Jacksons, I have been involved with local issues.
Early on I was on the parent teacher association of Prestbury school and a governor for 21 years.
I have been associated with the local NSPCC and chairman of the Prestbury Amenity Society for 30 years, which includes looking after Prestbury Station.
I am the longest serving trustee of the village hall, a fundraiser and trustee of Prestbury Youth Centre and a parish councillor.
I am involved with supporting the East Cheshire Hospice, by actively raising funds.
I served as a Macclesfield borough councillor from 1999 until it became Cheshire East Council and subsequently served one further term before standing down as my husband, Jimmy, became very ill.
I will always make myself available when anyone has a problem.
Stuart Redgard (independent)
Nothing submitted.
So Cheshire remains proudly non-partisan and has provided the same opportunity to all parties and independent candidates.
