Later this month, Bolsover Castle will once again be lit up in spectacular fashion, as its Bright Winter Nights event returns.
Organisers promise two “unforgettable evenings of light, sound and creativity” taking place on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th November 2025.
The spectacle, run by Junction Arts, has become a highlight of the winter calendar in Bolsover.
Each year, the town’s landmark building is transformed into a canvas for large-scale projections, along with immersive soundscapes and interactive digital artworks.
For 2025, the theme is “Hear My Voice” and each artwork has been co-created alongside young people from Derbyshire.
“Together, they’ll bring new perspectives, fresh ideas and powerful stories to life on the castle walls,” a spokesperson said.
There is also a dedicated slot available at 4.30pm aimed at those who prefer it to be less busy.
