Preparations are well under way for the Great British Food Festival which is taking place in the grounds of the stunning Arley Hall this weekend (22nd & 23rd Sept).
With over 75 food producers, a gift marquee, street food vendors, pop up bars, chef demos, kids entertainment and live music, it’s going to a fun foodie day out for the whole family.
Dan Maycock, one of the organisers, said: “We have got a great mix of local produce and best of British, coming from further afield.
“On the hot food front you will be able to try anything from traditional burgers to Vietnamese and Italian dishes, so hopefully something for all tastes!”
There will be Men Vs Food challenges and a Cake Off too – where entrants who bring a cake along get free food festival entry (more info on www.greatbritishfoodfestival.com).
There will also be drinks talks, cooking in a camper van, kids’ cookery lessons, forager walks and live music throughout the day.
Bring a blanket and sit outside for the day while you enjoy great food and drink, live music and beautiful surroundings.
It’s the perfect recipe for a fun, foodie day out for the whole family.
