‘Alternative’ back to school 2018 – part 3

Shares

There’s not long to go now until the kids go back to school. (Why not take a look at our ‘Back to school healthcare‘ feature?)

While the youngsters might not be entirely thrilled by the prospect, it’s perfectly possible for adults to find some enjoyable ‘studies’ to take away the boredom that comes from not having the kids around…!

This mini series has three parts: part one on Tuesday, part two on Wednesday, and part three on Thursday, all before we hit September!

In part three we take a look at how to bake amazing bread at home with One Mile Bakery Hale, photography courses with Weston Digital Imaging & Media and how you can get yourself flexible and strong with Alderley Pilates.

Missed part one? Catch it here.

Bake yourself happy – Hale One Mile Bakery

Matt Townley is a man who loves baking, loves good food and loves to cook for his family and friends. His baking classes offer a fun, inspirational day away from the stress of busy lives.

Matt says that when he was younger he was told “if you want to show somebody that you really love them, cook them a good meal,” and he has always lived by this mantra.

One Mile Bakery Hale is all about the joy of delivering delicious homemade, handmade food from Matt’s kitchen to customers within a one mile radius – and inspirational baking classes too!

You can learn how to bake amazing bread at home to share with the people you love, with classes for beginners as well as classes tailored to French and Italian baking.

The introductory level class is your gateway to making incredible yeasted bread – offering the core skills and knowledge required for bread-making, leaving you confident to tackle any bread recipe.
