A new “sleep boutique” has opened in Wilmslow, selling high-end luxury beds.
It is Swedish firm Hästens’ first foray into the north of England – with four other UK locations in London plus one in Buckinghamshire.
The firm’s range includes the Grand Vividus model, the bed which is owned by rap star Drake.
Bosses said only 15 people in the world knew how to make it, and that it was created in collaboration with designer Ferris Rafauli.
Manager of the new Cheshire store, Jake Lewin said Wilmslow’s reputation aligned closely with the brand.
“We look forward to introducing the Hästens experience to the region and helping people discover what truly exceptional rest feels like,” he said.

The firm has been trading since 1852, and even supplies beds to the Swedish royal family.
Bosses describe it as “a purveyor of excellence in the art of bedmaking,” adding that they have “an unwavering commitment to the highest quality, the best materials and masterly craftsmanship.”
Each bed is handmade in Köping in Sweden and is sustainably produced using premium natural materials.
Its products are available in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Mr Lewin added: “Wilmslow is the perfect location for Hästens – a town known for high standards and a discerning local community who appreciate investments that genuinely enhance wellbeing.
