I live in the village of Burton with my husband Mark and our dog. I works for our own company supplying programme and project planning expertise.
I have been involved in local shows at the Gladstone Village Hall and enjoy the monthly quiz nights. I am a volunteer with Refugee Assist based in Neston.
I am passionate about music and the positive impact it has on community and mental health, playing cornet with Port Sunlight Lyceum Brass Band and singing mezzo-soprano with Sing Me Merseyside.
I have been an active member of the local Liberal Democrats as an executive officer and campaign for them on their “Clean, Green, Connected” policies.

I have represented Willaston and the district for over 26 years.
I have always believed that a councillor must be active in their communities, understand the local issues and be proactive improving the lives of local residents.
I am a member of numerous village societies in Willaston and Hooton and assist the work of the Burton Residents’ Association in every way I can.
I hold monthly surgeries in Willaston and make myself freely available to residents who want my assistance.
I am a chartered accountant by profession and live in Willaston with my wife, Marilyn. We have three grown-up children and eight grandchildren.
So Cheshire remains proudly non-partisan and has provided the same opportunity to all parties and independent candidates.
