Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Macclesfield Beer Festival.

The event will take place over two evenings on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th May, alongside a family-friendly daytime session on the Saturday.

The festival will once again be raising money for charity, and this year it will be supporting Macclesfield-based supported living charity The Rossendale Trust.

Macclesfield Beer Festival is one of the region’s longest-running charity events, having raised over £300,000 during its 26-year history.

James Hogben, commenting on behalf of the Macclesfield Beer Festival committee and Macclesfield Round Table, said: “We’re really excited to launch the Macclesfield Beer Festival for 2023 with some exciting new additions.

“This includes a great line up of music, our most varied food offering to date, family entertainment and of course a fantastic selection of beers, wines, ciders, perries and gins.

“We look forward to welcoming you to Macclesfield Beer Festival 2023.”

The Friday and Saturday evenings will open at 7pm with live music, and over 150 beers, ciders and perries on offer, as well as craft larger, wines and prosecco in addition to a range of gin-based drinks plus a selection of non-alcoholic beers and wines.

The festival will also have an expanded food offering, including a bbq and wood-fired pizzas.

The family-friendly daytime session, which is free to attend, is open 12-6pm on the Saturday and also includes a range of activities to keep the whole family entertained.

There will be vintage games, face painting, market stalls and live music throughout.

Tickets are available from www.macclesfieldbeerfestival.org.
