A giant ferris wheel is coming to Chester this April.
The wheel will be located at Grosvenor Park, giving visitors breath-taking views from the top which reaches 35 metres above the ground.
The wheel will be offering rides for visitors from 1st to 28th April.
Visitors will experience 360° views of the surrounding area, and on a clear day they’ll have a view of up to 12 miles.
The wheel will have 24 gondolas, each holding up to six people.
Some of the gondolas have been set up to accommodate a wheelchair or mobility scooter user plus two people.
The price for a standard ticket is £7, a child (under 1.4m) is £5 and a family of four £20.
Riders will have a minimum of two rotations to take in the views – details of opening times and tickets can be found online.
While the wheel is in the park, there is also an archaeological dig taking place alongside it, so people on the wheel will have a bird’s eye view of the action.
The giant wheel will bring another attraction to the park, which is also home to a cafe, miniature railway, and Victorian carousel.
