Cheshire Police were called to reports of a disturbance in Wilmslow shortly after midday on Saturday 13th March.
The incident was said to have involved a number of men at an address on Macclesfield Road.
Officers attended to the scene and conducted a number of enquiries to establish the circumstances.
Their enquiries found there were no reports of any injuries and no arrests were made.
A statement from police said: “Police have attended to the scene to establish the circumstances and to locate the man who resides at the address.
“He was located safely a short time later and no arrests were made.”
Police confirmed it was an isolated incident.
