With snow covering much of the county, we were thrilled to see the animals at Chester Zoo playing in the snow this week.
Jamie Christon, Chief Operating Officer at Chester Zoo, said: “Many of the animals here at Chester have extensive habitats that include both indoor and outdoor areas, so they will ultimately decide if they would like to spend time snuggled up in their dens and exploring their large indoor areas – but most really enjoy a snow day!
He added: “Our expert teams will be keeping a close eye on the 21,000 animals in our care, as they do every day.”
